Designed by the Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid, the Bergisel ski jump probably is Innsbruck’s most prominent landmark and ranks among the most modern sports arenas in the Alps.  Every day (from May to October), ski jumpers soar through the air, reaching up to 140 metres. With its Olympic past, its distinguished architecture and its breathtaking panoramic view on Tyrol’s capital city, the Bergisel ski jump fascinates visitors from all over the world every year.
